Norm's Helium Loops is scheduled for 22 March 2026 in Salcombe Regis (1st Sid Vale Scouts, EX10 0NY). The event is organised by Climb South West Ltd. Course and format

The event runs for a maximum of 12 hours. Participants complete as many loops as they can on a 5.5 km circuit. Each loop involves approximately 250 m of climb and there is no time limit per loop.

  • 5.5 km loop with about 250 m climb
  • 4 loops = half marathon distance, about 1,000 m total ascent
  • 8 loops = marathon distance
  • 18 loops = 100 km

Facilities and services

The course is fully marked. An indoor event headquarters provides toilets, showers and refreshments. First aid cover is provided. All participants receive a Norm’s Helium Loops memento.
