Noche Trail Runs takes place on September 19, 2026, at South Llano River State Park near Junction, Texas. The event uses trails inside the park that run through rocky terrain and a dry southern climate.

The course surface is a mix of wide rocky trails and single-track. The route is hilly, with about 1000 ft of elevation gain per loop. Historic average temperatures for the event period range from about 72 to 93 degrees.
Required gear and rules note that a headlamp is required for all distances. Organizers require a water carrying system; they recommend a 32 ounce capacity and state a 16 ounce minimum. This is a no cup event, so participants must provide their own refillable container. Ruck participants must carry specified weights: 30 pounds if over 150 pounds body weight, 20 pounds if under 150 pounds. Ruck sacks or vests are allowed.
Aid station details list a main aid station at the start and finish area with road and crew access and drop bag options. Additional stations include Walters at mile 7 and B's Hydration at mile 11.5; stations provide foods, snacks, water, electrolytes, pickle juice and ice. Drop bags may be placed at the start/finish area.
Park campgrounds are approximately 3 minutes from the start and cost about 20 dollars per night with restrooms and showers nearby. Hotels and motels are 10 to 15 minutes from the venue.
Awards include first place male and female for all distances and finisher medals. The 40 mile distance has a distinct heavy duty bronze finisher medal and a dead last award.
