MTC Pooka

The MTC Pooka is a 38-mile ultra marathon held in Ireland, starting from Mizen Road, Cloghane, Goleen, and finishing at the Eccles Hotel in Glengarriff. It serves as Day 1 of the 14-day Mount to Coast MizMal® End to End Challenge, covering the iconic Mizen Head to Malin Head route. The race follows much of the MizMal® cycling route, featuring varied terrain with 830.8 meters of ascent and 892.5 meters of descent.

Limited to 40 participants, the event emphasizes self-navigation with provided maps and mandatory safety gear. Finishers receive a bespoke medal, with trophies awarded to male and female champions.
