Marathon runners complete the loop twice. There are four aid stations on the loop providing water, Gatorade, and snacks; for marathon runners this equates to eight aid stops. The marathon has a 7-hour cutoff (about a 16:01 pace per mile). The 5K follows the SCC perimeter road onto the Reservoir Park Trail and returns to the start.
Event parking is at the Sandhills Community College Sports Complex, 395 Wilbur Blvd, Pinehurst, NC 28374. Bathrooms are available at the SCC start/finish area, Nick’s Creek parking lot turnaround, and Reservoir Park main parking lot. Packet pickup is available the evening prior at Sandhills Horticulture Gardens, 3245 Airport Rd, Pinehurst, and on race morning. Food trucks and on-site activities are planned. March weather in Moore County is typically cool in the morning and milder by mid-day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
