Mollymook Splash and Dash

Mollymook Splash and Dash is a community event at Mollymook Beach on Saturday 14 February 2026. It combines an ocean swim program, a series of road and beach runs, and a beachside celebration with live music and food vendors.

The ocean swim offers several distance options:

• 500 m Junior and Novice swim
• 250 m Dash for Cash
• 2.2 km open course

The swim program includes a "Back of the Pack" option for participants using fins and snorkels. Water safety patrols are on the course, and swim winners receive cash prizes. Post-swim refreshments include watermelon.

Run distances are:

• 3 km Fun Run
• 5 km Coast Run including "heartbreak hill" and 2 km of beach running
• 10 km course with hills, trails, stairs, and up to 4 km of sand

All run distances finish at the surf club. Age group awards apply to both swim and run events. Event services include secure baggage storage and first aid stations. A surf club bar and food vendors operate during the event. The program includes a celebrant-led Valentine's Day vows ceremony on the beach; registration for that ceremony will open soon.

Entry fees are listed in ranges: Ocean Swim $30 to $65, Run events $10 to $40. Teams of five or more receive discounts. A late entry fee of an additional $15 applies after 12 February. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
