Mindy Creek Trail Races

Mindy Creek Trail Races take place on August 29, 2026 in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. All distances start and finish at the Polk County Information Center at 710 S Highway 35. Courses use a variety of trails through St. Croix Falls, with technical sections, rolling hills, bridges, and stretches on gravel and paved surfaces.

The marathon follows the half marathon course twice and includes over 18 miles of single track. Aid stations for the marathon are listed at miles 5, 9, 13, 18 and 22 with additional water only stations. The marathon has a seven hour finish cutoff and a second loop start cutoff. Drop bags are allowed at the start and finish area. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers. All finishers receive a full color 8.5 x 11 print of the current year logo.

The half marathon is a lollipop shaped course with over nine miles of single track. Aid and cutoff times are specified and awards include top three male female and masters over 40. The 10K is an out and back with single track paved gravel and grass sections and a water only aid at the turnaround.

Registration opens November 28, 2025 and closes August 25, 2026 for online entries. Online field is limited to 150 runners. There are no refunds and entries may not be transferred or deferred. Packet pickup is race morning only. Restrooms are available at the Information Center and an outdoor building. External music is not allowed during the race and headphones are requested if runners use music. Parking is in the Information Center lot; participants are asked to be considerate of other users.
