Mindy Creek Trail Races in St. Croix Falls
The Mindy Creek Trail Races are scheduled for August 29, 2026, with venue and packet pickup at the Polk County Information Center in St. Croix Falls, WI. Courses use a mix of single track, gravel, paved and grass surfaces and include technical sections, rolling hills and bridges. The start is on the bike path just above the Information Center at the SE corner of WI-35 and US-8; parking is in the Information Center lot.

Course and race details are provided for each distance. The marathon repeats the half-marathon loop and includes over 18 miles of single track. Marathon aid stations are full aid at miles 5, 9, 13, 18 and 22 and water-only at miles 8 and 21; the marathon has a 7-hour finish cutoff and a 2nd-loop start requirement. The half-marathon has full aid at miles 5 and 9 and water-only at mile 8 with a 5-hour cutoff; masters awards are offered. The 10K combines single track, paved, gravel and grass with a water-only aid at the turnaround and a 2-hour cutoff.
Registration opens November 28, 2025, and closes August 25, 2026. Online entries are limited to 150 runners; once the online limit is reached only race-day sign-ups will be accepted. There are no refunds, transfers, or deferrals. Packet pickup is race morning only. Bathrooms are available at the Information Center and an outdoor building. External music is not allowed without headphones. All finishers receive a full color 8.5 x 11 print of the current year logo and top finishers receive awards.
