Mindy Creek Trail Races

All distances start and finish at the Polk County Information Center, 710 S Highway 35, St. Croix Falls, WI. The start area is on the bike path above the Information Center at the southeast corner of WI 35 and US 8. Parking is available in the Information Center lot.

The courses use a variety of trails around St. Croix Falls with a mix of technical single track, rolling hills, bridges, gravel and paved sections. Aid stations provide water and nutrition; typical items include water, Gatorade, soda, cookies, gummies, chips, salted nut rolls and pickles. Bathrooms are available at the Information Center and an outdoor restroom building. External music is not allowed during the race; headphones are permitted.

Marathon: The route is two laps of the half marathon course and includes over 18 miles of single track. Full aid stations are located at miles 5, 9, 13, 18 and 22; water only at miles 8 and 21. Finishers receive a full color 8.5 x 11 print of the current year logo. Awards for top three male and female.

Half Marathon: A lollipop shaped course with over 9 miles of single track. Full aid at miles 5 and 9 and water only at mile 8. Finishers receive the event print. Awards for top three male, female, and masters over 40.

10K: An out and back with approximately 2 miles single track, 2 miles paved trail, 1 mile gravel and 1 mile grass. Water only at the turnaround. Finishers receive the event print. Awards for top three male and female.

Registration opens November 28, 2025 and closes August 25, 2026. Online field is limited to 150 runners. There are no refunds; entries may not be transferred or deferred. Packet pickup is race morning only. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
