Meall a'Bhuachaille Hill Race is staged at Badaguish Outdoor Centre near Aviemore in Scotland. The 13 km course climbs about 720 m, starting at Badaguish and ascending Meall a’Bhuachaille to around 810 m, then traversing crests to Creagan Gorm and Craiggowrie before a fast, often boggy descent back to the finish. The route is mostly unmarked, with hill marshals at key checkpoints, so navigational skill may be required in poor visibility.

Spectacular views can be enjoyed on clear days. Runners must carry full waterproof kit, map and other essentials; maps cost £1. Parking is £5 per car.
