The Mauerweglauf Berlin, also known as the 100 Meilen Berlin, is an ultramarathon event that commemorates the victims of the Berlin Wall, which divided Germany from 1961 to 1989. Since its inception in 2011, participants run along the former border strip, covering a distance of over 161 kilometers around western Berlin. The event not only serves as a sporting challenge but also as a historical remembrance. The next Mauerweglauf is scheduled for August 16-17, 2025, with a clockwise running direction.
