Event Overview
The Maroondah Dam Trail Run is the first race in the Trailsplus Mountain Trail Series. Runners can enter this race individually, or enter the full series to receive a discount.

Location and Setting
The run takes place at Maroondah Reservoir Park in the Yarra Ranges National Park. The park entrance is from the Maroondah Highway, about 3km east of Healesville. The location features gardens with native and exotic trees, walking tracks, and is a known picnic destination. The event is held in April, coinciding with autumn colours.
Pricing and Registration
A tiered pricing structure is in place for 2026, with costs increasing as the event date approaches. An "Opening Special" price is available for a limited time from 16 February at 8pm. Race entry is also available on the day for an additional fee. The event uses the Humanitix ticketing platform, a not-for-profit system where booking fee profits are donated to a humanitarian cause.
Schedule and Logistics
Separate compulsory check-in and briefing times are scheduled for each distance, followed by staggered race starts. Registration and merchandise purchases are available during the check-in period on race day.

The event organiser, Trailsplus, donates $1 from each participant's entry fee to Canteen, an Australian organisation for young people living with cancer.
