Maroondah Dam Trail Run takes place on Sunday 19th April 2026. It is the first race in the Trailsplus Mountain Series; entrants can enter just this race or enter the full series and receive a discount. Distances offered on the day are:

Check-in and briefing are compulsory. Competitors collect their race bib and any pre-ordered merchandise during check-in. On-day registration is available but incurs an extra administration fee. Course maps and downloadable GPX and CRS files are provided for each distance.

Location and other information

The event is held at Maroondah Reservoir Park in the Yarra Ranges National Park. Entrance is from the Maroondah Highway, about 3 km east of Healesville. The park includes gardens with stands of native and exotic trees, native animals and birds, walking tracks, a playground, lawns and shaded areas. April brings autumn colours, and the setting accommodates spectators who wish to picnic or have a BBQ while waiting.

Trailsplus donates $1 for each participant to Canteen. In 2025 the event had 165 competitors and combined donations to Canteen totaled $245. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
