Marathon du Mont-Mégantic
The Marathon du Mont-Mégantic takes place in Parc national du Mont-Mégantic and marks its fifth edition on June 14, 2026. Since 2021 the event has attracted hundreds of runners of various levels and is presented as the only trail marathon in Estrie and the only trail race in the Granit region.
The event offers several distances, including:
- 2.5 km children
- 7 km
- 16 km
- 42 km solo or relay
The 42 kilometer race has a total elevation gain of 1909 meters. Courses combine rolling sections and technical portions, and provide numerous viewpoints within a national park setting. The atmosphere is described as family oriented; aid stations and coffee will be available on site during the event days.
