Mansfield Uphill

Mansfield Uphill is an uphill running event hosted by the Mansfield Nordic Pro Team at Stowe Mountain Resort on June 21, 2026 and again on October 18, 2026. The course runs from Midway Lodge to Cliff House following the Switchback and Perry Merrill trails and is listed as 1.7 miles.

The event uses a mass start at Midway Lodge and limits the field to 200 participants. Registration shows an entry fee of $50 and an online registration deadline of June 20, 2026. Participants may walk, hike, run, bound, run backwards, or crawl at their own pace; pro team athletes will also be on the course for comparison.

Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in each category, with the awards presented at Midway Lodge. A meet-and-question session with the team follows the awards. Gondola service is available for a scenic descent after the climb.

Proceeds and optional donations support Mansfield Nordic Pro Team athletes and programming. Fundraising is directed toward expenses such as race travel, ski wax and race wax, test skis, warm-up clothing, and race suits for SuperTour and World Cup events. Merchandise and team items, including a team T-shirt offered for a fee, are available as part of registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
