Mangerton is a mountain running event in County Kerry scheduled for Sunday 24 May 2026. The course is described as open mountain with rough terrain. The listed distance is 9.60 km with approximately 700 m of climb. The route is not marked and GPS use is allowed. The event carries a difficulty rating of 9, described as Difficult Terrain with more than 500 m ascent.

The race is part of the Munster Championship. Maximum entries are 250 and entries open on 17 May 2026 and close on 23 May 2026. Entry fees are €7 for seniors and €5 for over 65s and under 18s.

Mandatory kit is Level C Advanced and all runners must bring the required items. Required equipment includes a waterproof jacket with integrated hood and taped seams, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, charged mobile phone with the emergency number stored, foil blanket or bivvy bag, waterproof full leg cover, means to carry at least 500 mL water, emergency food, map of the route or area, and a compass. The specific kit to be carried may be finalised on the day and will be advised at registration. Failure to carry required items may result in being denied entry or disqualification; random kit checks may be carried out.
