Mammoth Trail Fest

Mammoth Trailfest is a multi-day trail running festival held in Mammoth Lakes in California's Eastern Sierra. The event features a mix of competitive races, community activities, and a festival program with talks, performances, and local food. Entry perks include limited edition swag, a unique finishers medal, post-race food and drink, professional chip timing with on-course splits for the 50K and 26K, well stocked aid stations, partner goodies, bus transport for the Dragon's Back Ascent start/finish, and free town transit.

Race offerings include:

• Mammoth Triple: Dragon's Back Ascent, 50K, and 26K over three days.
• Dragon's Back Ascent: climb from Twin Lakes Bridge at 8,500' to summit over 11,000'.
• tenkay: evening glowstick run on a lollipop trail; headlamps required.
• 50K: single loop, 7,000 ft vertical gain, average elevation over 9,000'.
• 26K: single loop with a summit, technical terrain.
• Kid's 1K: village run with custom bibs and medals.

The event maintains seeded and reserved entries for elite, adaptive, and 70+ athletes and operates a waitlist for withdrawn spots. Prize money is offered: $9,000 each in the 26K and 50K, and $3,700 for Dragon's Back Ascent. Top three finishers in each gender and adaptive categories receive awards by 10-year age groups. Participants must be at least 15 years old for the 50K, 26K, and Dragon's Back Ascent; minors under 18 require parental consent. The organizer may cancel or postpone the event for force majeure; refunds are not provided in that case.
