Maah Daah Hey Trailrun

Maah Daah Hey Trailrun is a multi distance trail event held in Medora, North Dakota on July 24–25, 2026. Races take place along the Maah Daah Hey Trail through the North Dakota Badlands and use a point to point format that finishes in Medora. Course terrain on the trail includes climbs and descents typical of Badlands topography.

Distances offered cover a wide range, listed below with their event names as provided:

• 112 miles MDHTR 100 Ultra
• 56 miles MDHTR 50 Ultra
• 27 miles "Marathon"
• 13.5 miles "Half-Marathon"
• 6.7 miles "10k"
• 3.2 miles "5k"

A pacer option is included for some event stages. Each race distance is run on the Maah Daah Hey Trail and finishes in the town of Medora, providing a point to point running experience through Badlands landscape. The program spans two calendar days and includes ultramarathon distances as well as shorter trail races and road race equivalents named by distance.
