L'Ultra Marin

About the race

L'Ultra Marin® 2027 is a multi-day trail event held in Vannes and around the Golfe du Morbihan from 23 to 27 June 2027. Since 2005 the event uses local hiking and coastal paths, passing small beaches, rocky sections and bays. Races are offered in individual and team formats, across a wide range of distances.

Key features and services include:

• varied distances covering short to very long trail formats
• courses run in semi-autonomy
• bib pickup at the Parc des Expositions du Chorus, with mandatory in-person collection using a QR code and photo ID
• shuttle buses available from Vannes to the different starts for competitors and accompanying visitors
• options such as a race training plan (RunMotion Coach), preordered commemorative t-shirt, SMS result delivery and the possibility to donate one’s finisher medal to a solidarity fund

• The longest format (Grand Raid) is about 175 km with roughly 1 430 m D+ and includes an inflatable boat crossing whose duration is counted in the final time.
• Other main formats include 100 km, 70 km, 60 km, 34 km, 29 km (Nordic walking, running prohibited), 13 km, and children’s distances (300–3 000 m). Registration involves a lottery with a geographic allocation policy and a later bib-exchange phase for remaining places.
