The Longleaf Blaze Trail Run is scheduled for Feb 15, 2026 at the Disney Wilderness Preserve in Kissimmee / Poinciana, Florida (2700 Scrub Jay Trail). The event offers trail running on preserve lands with the following distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
- Double Down (option to run both distances)
The event is family oriented and includes educational activities and an optional Gopher Tortoise Fun Run for children. Hats and finisher medals will be provided to participants. The race will not be officially timed.
Logistics and policies
This will be a cupless race; participants should bring a personal hydration system to fill at aid stations. Maps showing routes, aid station locations, and porta potties are provided by the organizer. Parking at the site will be limited. The event is planned to proceed rain or shine; emergency conditions may affect the event and organizers will communicate any delays or cancellations. There are no deferrals. If the organizer cancels the event, registrations will be refunded in full. Participants who cancel their registration up to two weeks before the event will receive 50% of the registration fee.
