Livingston Oval Ultra

Livingston, United States • 7 Mar 2026

Event Overview

The Livingston Oval Ultra is a timed running event where participants see how many laps they can complete on an oval track within a set time limit. The event offers four timed distances: 12 hours, 6 hours, 3 hours, and 1 hour. The 12-hour distance is new for 2026. The average temperature range is around 50°F to 29°F.

Course Details

The course is a USATF-certified oval track, with certification effective from August 1, 2023. The course is described as flat and fast. Athletes are never more than half a mile from the aid station.

Event Information

The top three male and female performers in each timed race receive a custom wall plaque. Participants receive a race hat, also new for 2026. A discount code is available for those who do not wish to receive the hat. The aid station provides typical ultra-running foods and some atypical offerings from sponsors. Race bibs must be worn on the front.

The event is held in a public space and was approved by the Livingston Town Council in June 2023. Littering may result in disqualification. A field area is available for athletes to set up personal tents, chairs, and coolers in a designated space, and they are responsible for cleaning their site.
