Livingston, United States • 7 Mar 2026

Event overview

The Livingston Oval Ultra is the third annual edition of a timed-lap event held at the Oval in Livingston, NJ (Robert Harp Drive). Runners aim to complete as many laps as possible within a set time limit. Distances offered include:

  • 12 hours (new for 2026)
  • 6 hours
  • 3 hours
  • 1 hour

Registration for the event closes on Mar 1.

Course, facilities and rules

The course is USATF certified as of Aug. 1, 2023 and is flat. Aid station offerings will include food from sponsors. Participants are never more than 0.5 miles from help. A gazebo field is provided for athlete setup; each athlete may use a 12' x 12' area and is responsible for cleaning their site. Race bibs must be worn on the front. Because the Oval is a public space, littering may lead to disqualification. The event was approved by the Livingston Town Council in June 2023.

Awards and athlete items

The top three male and female performances in each race receive a custom wall plaque. All participants receive a race hat introduced for 2026; a discount code (NOSWAG) reduces the fee by $25 for those who opt out of the hat. Average temperatures listed for the event are about 50°F and 29°F. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
