The Livingston Oval Ultra is a timed-lap event held at the Oval on Robert Harp Drive in Livingston, New Jersey. The event offers multiple timed races where participants run as many laps as they can in a set time on a certified loop. The course was USATF certified on August 1, 2023 and is described as fast and flat. The event is listed as the 4th annual edition and was approved by the Livingston Town Council in June 2023. The organizers hosted a Canadian national record in 2026 and indicate that record attempts can be certified if organizers are notified in advance.
Race amenities include an aid station offering typical ultra food and additional items from sponsors, and organizers note that athletes are never more than half a mile from help. Top three male and female performances in each race receive a custom wall plaque. Participants receive a running-style ball cap or a winter knit hat; a discount code NOSWAG or a $20 credit is offered for those who decline the hat.
Field arrangements include a gazebo area that opens relative to the race schedule and allows a 12' x 12' space per setup; athletes are responsible for cleaning their sites.
