Event overview

The Livingston Oval Ultra is a timed-lap ultramarathon held in Livingston, NJ at the Oval on Robert Harp Drive. It is the third annual running of the event. Runners complete as many laps of the Oval as they can within set time limits. The course is USATF certified as of Aug. 1, 2023 and is described as flat. The event takes place in a public park; littering may lead to disqualification.

Registration closes Sun, Mar 1. The town council approved the event in June 2023.

Aid station food includes standard ultra fare and additional sponsor-provided items. Participants are never more than a half mile from help. Race bibs must be worn on the front of the runner. Top three male and female finishers in each race will receive a custom wall plaque. All participants receive a race hat; an option to decline the hat is provided for a discount.

A gazebo field is available for athlete setup in marked 12 ft x 12 ft spaces; athletes are responsible for cleaning their area. Safety instructions and race information are provided to runners before each event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
