Livingston Oval Ultra

Livingston Oval Ultra is a lap based time event held in Livingston, NJ. The 2027 edition is the fourth annual running of the event and offers fixed duration races where participants complete as many laps as possible within the allotted time.

The event includes these race durations:

• 12 hours
• 6 hours
• 3 hours
• 1 hour

The course is USATF certified as of August 1, 2023 and is described by the organizer as fast and flat. The event has hosted record level performances, including a Canadian national record in 2026. Top three male and female finishers in each race receive a custom wall plaque. Participants receive a running style ball cap or a winter knit hat; a discount option is offered for those who decline a hat.

Aid station provisions include typical ultra foods and sponsor items, and organizers state that athletes are never more than half a mile from help. Race bibs must be worn on the front of the runner. The Gazebo Field opens one hour before the first event and closes thirty minutes after the last event; athletes may set up a 12 by 12 foot area and are responsible for cleaning their site.
