Light at the End of the Tunnel Marathon and Half - June 7, 2026

This event stages a marathon and a half marathon near Snoqualmie Pass, Washington, with an alternate, fully permitted route for 2026 due to storm damage. Both races are planned to remain fast and scenic, and the course design for 2026 features approximately 1,000 feet of net downhill elevation for each distance.

The 2026 courses will be USATF certified and the marathon is listed as a Boston Qualifier; final certification is to be completed after snowmelt in May. The surface is smooth, packed gravel suitable for road or light trail shoes. Aid stations appear every 2 to 3 miles and provide water, electrolytes, basic first aid, and Honey Stinger gels at selected locations.

Race services include professional chip timing, a custom race bib, a finisher shirt and medal, and post race food and festivities. The published finish location for the 2026 event is Garcia Trailhead; after finishing runners follow about one mile of Forest Service Road 9020 to shuttle buses that return participants to Hyak Sno Park for post race support.

Registration opens February 13, 2026 and closes on June 1, 2026. The organizer also offers similar marathon and half marathon events on other dates in the same season. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
