Le Trail de la Vallée du Parc

Le Trail de la Vallée du Parc takes place on June 27, 2026 at Vallée du Parc in Shawinigan, Quebec. The event is centered at the ski station and offers forest trail routes and on-site activities for families and visitors.

Distances offered are:

• 1 km Initiation, 26 m, walking allowed, 12 years and under
• 5 km L'Atteignable, 223 m, walking allowed, 6 years and up
• 10 km Le Motivant, 389 m, race only, 16 years and up
• 21 km Le Costaud, 778 m, race only, 18 years and up

All courses are marked, secured and timed. Water points are available on every distance; aid stations are provided on the 5 km, 10 km and 21 km routes. Longer courses include technical sections and single track; the 1 km is a wide, flat loop at the base of the mountain. 21 km participants must be self-sufficient for water. Parents may accompany children on the 1 km without registration.

A free parking area is available. Services include a snack for participants, changing rooms and toilets. Bib pickup is organized the day before and the morning of the event. Podiums with medals are awarded by sex and age category for each distance except the 1 km, for which all participants receive a medal. No prize money is offered.

A STQ season pass is available with a limit of 100 passes per distance; each pass grants access to up to eight events of the same distance and selected events are confirmed after purchase. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
