Last Man Standing - Lumberton

Last Man Standing is a timed endurance running challenge held in a local park in Lumberton, Texas. The course uses a two-loop layout that totals 4 miles, with a mix of well-maintained trails, shaded paths, and open stretches through stands of pine.

The event provides two aid stations: one unmanned station on the back side of the course near mile 1 and a main aid station by the finish area. Aid station supplies include water, electrolytes, pickle juice, coke, and snacks. Athletes may use a designated area near the start line for drop bags and athlete camps; organizers recommend bringing a small canopy and personal supplies for that area.

Packet pickup is scheduled on the day before the race and on the morning of the race. Racing continues into the night for those who remain on course on Sunday, and spectators can support participants during those hours.

All finishers receive a Last Man Standing medal with a patch indicating the number of loops completed. Event awards include a Last Man Standing Ultra Trophy and a cooler for the winner, along with finisher medals and shirts. Proceeds support NMA in partnership with 1egacy Group, law enforcement, advocacy groups, and families working to recover missing and exploited children.
