Last Man Standing - Lumberton, TX
Last Man Standing in Lumberton, Texas is an endurance running event scheduled for October 24, 2026. The course uses a two-loop design totaling 4 miles, routed through local park trails with shaded paths, open stretches, and stands of pine trees.
Packet pickup is available the day before the race and the morning of the event. Remaining racers may continue through Sunday as the format allows runners to run successive loops until only one remains.
The event operates two aid stations. One unmanned station is located on the back side of the course near mile 1 and the main aid station is positioned close to the finish area. Aid station supplies include water, electrolytes, pickle juice, coke, and snacks.
Athletes may set up drop bags or small camps near the start line. Organizers recommend bringing a small canopy and personal supplies for gear, snacks, and drinks; a designated area near the start line is provided for athlete setups.
All finishers receive a last man standing medal with a patch indicating the number of loops completed. Awards include a Last Man Standing Ultra trophy and a Yeti cooler for the winner, plus finisher shirts. Proceeds from the event support NMA, which works alongside 1egacy Group, law enforcement, advocacy groups, and families to find and recover missing and exploited children.
