The Larch Madness Trail Races take place at Loup Loup Ski Bowl near Twisp, Washington on October 18, 2025. The event is organized by Rainshadow Running and benefits the Loup Loup Ski Education Foundation. There is dispersed camping available at the start/finish Friday and Saturday nights for $25 per adult. A post-race food and drink service is provided for participants and volunteers; guests may purchase food and drinks for an additional fee. Members of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation have their race entry fee waived.

Distances offered:
- 50K - 18,200 ft gain/loss, 9 aid stations, $155
 - 25K - 9,100 ft gain/loss, 4 aid stations, $130
 - 15K - 5,200 ft gain/loss, 2 aid stations, $95
 - 5K - 1,300 ft gain/loss, 0 aid stations, $40
 
Courses use a system of marked loops called the Blue, Yellow and Pink loops; different combinations form each distance. About 35-45% of the longer courses are off-trail with steep and rough terrain. Aid stations on the 15K, 25K and 50K are stocked with water, electrolyte drink, simple food, first aid and menstrual products. Drop bags and crew access are allowed at the start/finish/aid station. The event has an 18-hour course window and runners must follow cutoff and course-marking rules. Shoes with good traction and optional hiking poles are recommended; light snow is possible in October.
