Langlauf 10K Cross Country Ski Race

The Langlauf XC Ski Race is a long-standing cross-country skiing event held at the Mount Spokane Nordic Ski Center in Mead, Washington. The competition utilizes a traditional 10 km course located within the Selkirk Lodge area of Mount Spokane State Park. To manage different skiing speeds and participant abilities, the organizers utilize a wave start system.

Special categories are available for adaptive athletes, including sit skiers and those with visual impairments. The adaptive route begins with the standard wave start but transitions at Junction 1 to Linder Road. This course continues to a turnaround point at the Inland gate before returning via Brian’s trail to the main finish line. Guide skiers may accompany adaptive participants; guides are treated as volunteers and are not required to pay a registration fee unless they choose to be timed.

The event inclusive of its pre-race and post-race amenities is established as a significant gathering for the cross-country skiing community in the Pacific Northwest. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
