LAKES Trail Festival, based in Hawks Nest on NSW's North Coast, is Australia's fresh ultra-trail event set in the Myall Lakes region. Runners can choose from 100km, 70km, 50km, 30km, plus a 12km option and a 1km kids dash. All courses start and finish in Hawks Nest, tracing coastal and forest trails, beaches, and lake edges through the Myall Lakes National Park, including the Dark Point sand dunes and a halfway point past Seal Rocks lighthouse. The festival supports solo and team formats (100km in four legs or 50km in two) and offers on-course medical support, a finisher medal, and ITRA points for select distances.
