Event Overview
Run Port Stephens is a coastal running festival located in Nelson Bay, New South Wales. Established in 2022, the event features a fast course that utilizes the foreshore and parklands. The routes provide a mixture of waterfront scenery and shaded forest trails, with some elevation changes throughout the course. Participants can finish their day with a swim at Nelson Bay Beach, located near the event site.
The event follows a sustainable approach by moving toward a pin-free environment for race bibs. Runners are encouraged to use reusable snaps to secure their numbers, reducing the waste associated with traditional safety pins. The location is approximately 2.5 hours north of Sydney and is situated near Tomaree National Park and the Stockton Bight Sand Dunes.
