The event is an endurance trail run held at Deam Lake State Recreation Area in Borden, IN on November 2, 2025. Registration is limited to fewer than 50 spots and a wait-list is used once capacity is reached. The event was postponed from February 16, 2025 to November 2, 2025. Registered entrants receive a Lake Vista baseball cap and finishers receive a medal; prizes are awarded to the top male and female endurance champions and there are additional door or random prizes. Registration closes on October 31.

The marked lap is 4.167 miles. The course is a trail loop with a summit that reaches about a 25% to 30% grade. There are creek crossings that are usually hop-able, occasional fallen trees, and rooty, rocky technical sections near the top. Runners complete repeated laps for the duration they entered (6 or 12 hours); fun runners run a single lap. Total time for all laps is calculated and the winner is the entrant with the fastest pace / lowest total time with no missed laps. Participants are expected to bring their own nutrition and hydration; limited electrolytes and backup nutrition will be available.
