LA Turkey Trail
LA Turkey Trail is a trail running event in Los Angeles, California, held on November 26, 2026. The event is organized by SoCalTrail and is centered at the Top of Reseda Trailhead in the Santa Monica Mountains, with courses that pass near the Nike Missile Tower and overlook the ocean and the San Gabriel range.
Courses are entirely on fire roads and singletrack and include:
- Half marathon: 13.67 miles, 2,323 ft gain
- 10k: 6.7 miles, 857 ft gain
- 5k Fun Run and Hike: 2.76 miles, 448 ft gain
Prizes and awards include overall podiums and age group awards for the 10k and half marathon, with a $500 cash prize for each half marathon winner in the men’s and women’s divisions. Finishers receive a soft cotton or tech race shirt, a unique finisher medal, and free course photography. Post-race amenities listed for entrants include a beer garden for guests 21 and older, a taco breakfast with vegan-friendly options, sponsor giveaways, finish line announcers, live DJs, and professional medical support including sports massage services.
