The Kosiak Lion is an exciting mountain running and mountain duathlon competition that takes place as part of the Carinthian Mountain Running Cup 2024. The event includes various disciplines, such as a mountain duathlon with 12.8 km of mountain biking and 1.5 km of mountain running, as well as a 6.8 km mountain run. Additionally, there is a lighter version, the Kosiak Lion Light, which offers shorter distances for individual and team rankings. The competitions are divided into different age and ranking categories to appeal to participants of all ages and skill levels. Youth races for children and teenagers complete the offering.
