Kokoda Challenge - Brisbane

The Kokoda Challenge Brisbane is a team endurance hike in D'Aguilar National Park, starting and finishing at Brookfield Recreation Reserve. Participants tackle courses through steep, hilly terrain on fire trails and bush tracks.

The event offers three distances:

  • 18km
  • 30km
  • 48km

Teams must have between two and five members. The 48km distance is open to participants aged 13 and over, and a support crew is recommended for this longest option. The event includes checkpoints along the courses.

Fundraising is a core component, with each team required to meet a minimum fundraising target. These funds support the Kokoda Youth Foundation's youth programs and also serve to honour the history and values of the 1942 Kokoda Campaign.
