Kaslo Wild Ultra
Kaslo Wild Ultra takes place in Kaslo, British Columbia from July 9 to 11, 2027. The event runs over three days with single-day and multi-day entry options across mountain and riverside trails.
Distances:
- 10 km Lake Stage - 150 m elevation, mixed single track and gravel.
- 53 km Mountain Stage - 2400 m elevation, rugged mountain terrain and technical single track.
- 22 km River Stage - 528 m elevation, single track through rainforest and riverside trails.
- 85 km Full Wild - all three stages over three days.
- 32 km Half Wild - Lake and River Stages over two days.
The Mountain Stage includes five aid stations plus one unattended water station; drop bags are transported to the top of Mount Buchanan. For the 53 km race, mandatory items include a hydration pack or bottles, a rain jacket or emergency blanket, and a phone. Headphones are not allowed for safety reasons. All starts, finishes, and race package pickup occur at Kaslo Bay Park.
Runners must check in at each aid station. The event enforces rules against course cutting and environmental damage, requires a signed waiver, and outlines refund, transfer, and mandatory gear policies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
