The Jungfrau-Marathon Interlaken is a multi-day running event held in the Swiss Alps. The main attraction is the full marathon distance, but the event also includes several shorter races and a winter mountain run.
Race Options
Participants can choose from various distances and formats:
- Marathon: 42.195 km
- Harder Run Race: 4.4 km with 755 meters of altitude gain from Interlaken to Harder Kulm.
- Minimarathon: 4.2 km (Fun Run)
- Minirun: 200 m - 1600 m for children and youths up to 16 years.
- Pararace: 200 m - 4.4 km for athletes with disabilities.
- Lauberhorn Run: 4.48 km mountain run on the legendary World Cup downhill slope with 1028 meters of altitude gain on snow.
Practical Information
The Harder Run Race has a maximum running time of 75 minutes and is limited to 250 participants. The entry fee for this race includes electronic timekeeping, a luggage transport service (maximum 5 kg) to the finish line, return transport by the Harderbahn funicular, and access to showers and changing rooms at the Bödelibad Interlaken.
