Jingle Trails

Hill Country Village, United States • 12 Dec 2026

Event Overview

Jingle Trails is a trail running event held in December at McAllister Park in central San Antonio, Texas. It features a holiday theme.

Distances

The event offers three trail running distances:

  • 20K: Two laps on the park's Blue Loop.
  • 10K: One lap on the Blue Loop, with a note that construction may cause a slightly longer course.
  • 5K: A route on the park's Red Trail.

All distances share a common trail section leading to the finish line. The organizer notes that trail course distances are estimates and may run longer than stated.

Course and Terrain

The course uses the winding dirt trails of McAllister Park. The terrain includes dirt, roots, rocks, and gravel. The event is described as a true trail run, not a road race. The park's Optimist Pavilion, located at 13102 Jones Maltsberger Road, serves as the venue.

Participant Information

Participants are encouraged to dress in festive holiday attire. A complimentary Shiner beer is available at the finish line. Awards are given for overall and masters (age 40+) placements (1st, 2nd, 3rd male and female) in each distance, with prizes including pies and gift certificates. All finishers receive a medal. Additional swag, such as mugs and beanies, is available on a first-come, first-served basis at packet pickup. The event policy states there are no refunds for any reason.
