Jingle Trails Trail Run

This trail running event takes place at McAllister Park in San Antonio, Texas. Participants navigate a course featuring dirt, rocks, roots, and single-track areas. The terrain is technical, and organizers advise that strollers, joggers, and dogs are not recommended for the race course.

Available distances include:

  • 20k (12.4 miles): Two laps of the Blue Loop trail.
  • 10k (6.2 miles): A single lap of the Blue Loop trail.
  • 5k (3.1 miles): A chip-timed route through the Red Trail.

The event utilizes chip-timing for all participants. Due to construction, the 10k distance may follow a slightly longer course with a detour. All distances are estimated, and participants should expect the routes to potentially run longer than the standard distance. All courses overlap on the return portion of the race.

The registration fee includes a finisher's medal and a beanie. Additionally, the first 200 people to attend packet pickup receive a commemorative mug. Awards are presented to the first, second, and third-place male and female finishers in the overall and masters categories for each distance. Winners receive gift certificates and pies. The finish area at the Optimist Pavilion offers complementary beer for participants.

Participants are encouraged to wear festive holiday attire such as sweaters or hats. Packet pickup is scheduled on designated days leading up to the race at local running stores and on site on race morning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
