J Treequinox

J Treequinox is a 12-hour ultrarunning event held on a private 20+ acre desert property near downtown Joshua Tree, California. The race features a 1-mile loop course, offering a low-key atmosphere ideal for runners new to ultra distances who can pace themselves one lap at a time. Participants enjoy the scenic high desert environment during the fall equinox, with a well-stocked and festive aid station available each lap. The event includes post-race food catered by a local eatery, The Dez, and a campfire gathering to share stories.
