High Noon 24 Hour Trail Race & Relay at Kamview Nordic Centre

The event takes place at Kamview Nordic Centre in Thunder Bay, Ontario. It is a trail running event offered as Solo categories (24 hour, 12 hour and 6 hour), relay teams, and a Youth 4 hour Solo for runners 17 years or younger. The 6 hour and 12 hour options are new for 2026.

The course is a 3.38 km loop on cross country trails with scenic views. Portions of the course are unlit, so a headlamp is recommended for running after dark. The race is cupless and provides on site aid and water refill areas.

Included services and features: chip timing with live results, complimentary vegan pancakes Sunday morning, late night pizza, a stocked aid station with snacks and beverages including Precision Fuel & Hydration and pre mixed Tailwind drink, portable washrooms, and a designated tent area called the High Noon Corral where small propane camp stoves are permitted. Music, bonfires and games are part of the event atmosphere. The first 100 registrants receive a free High Noon running hat; event shirts and hats are available for purchase.

Medals and awards: finisher medals for relay runners and youth, solo finisher medal thresholds as below, special category awards and top male, female and non binary medals for most laps.

• 13 laps = Marathon
• 15 laps = 50 km
• 24 laps = 50 miles
• 30 laps = 100 km
• 48 laps = 160 km / 100 miles
