High Noon 24 Hour Trail Race & Relay

High Noon is a trail running event held at Kamview Nordic Centre in Thunder Bay, Ontario on Saturday June 27, 2026. The event offers solo time-based races, relay teams and a youth 4 hour solo category.

The course is a 3.38 km loop on cross country trails. Portions of the loop are unlit overnight, so participants should plan to use personal headlamps. This will be a cupless race.

Included on site are chip timing with live results, a designated tent corral with option to use a small personal propane camp stove, portable washrooms, a water refill area and a fully stocked aid station with snacks and beverages including Precision Fuel & Hydration products and Tailwind Nutrition drinks. Complimentary vegan friendly pancakes are provided Sunday morning and late night pizza is served.

Finish awards and milestone medals are tied to lap counts: 13 laps = Marathon, 15 laps = 50 km, 24 laps = 50 miles, 30 laps = 100 km, 48 laps = 160 km / 100 miles. Runners who complete 48 laps receive a 100 mile belt buckle. Relay runners receive finisher medals and there are awards for top teams as well as top male, top female and top non binary runners by laps. Race entries are non refundable. If the event is cancelled due to health unit or government restrictions after payment, participants may choose a 50 percent credit for 2027 or a 50 percent refund.
