A virtual participation option, the Hiawatha Spring Virtual Run, is also available for those unable to attend in person. For the in-person events, participants select specific wave start times during the registration process. The 50K distance is open to individuals between the ages of 15 and 99.
Packet pickup is scheduled at two locations: a pre-event session at the RnR RV Center and a race-day session at the Taft Parking Lot. The event partners with Wallace High School as an official charity, with donations supporting the school's clubs and sports teams. The race is part of a series of regional events, allowing runners to bundle registration with other races in Idaho, Washington, and Oregon for discounted rates.
