Harepin Hustle Trail Run : Lake Crabtree, Morrisville NC

The Harepin Hustle Trail Run holds trail races that start and finish at Lake Crabtree and use the Wake County 286 trail network. The event offers two marked trail distances and includes chip timing, aid stations, medical support, and on site volunteers. Race staging and the finish area are on the park lakeside lawn. Post race amenities include food, music, free photo downloads, an awards ceremony, and a free kids race for children 11 and under.

The courses are lollipop style with a shared 2.1 mile out and back stem before entering the 286 trail network. The outer loop runs clockwise on flowy, forest covered single track with hairpin turns, berms, short punchy climbs, and moderately technical sections with roots and rocks. Half Marathon participants follow an additional inner loop and a second lap of the outer loop before returning to the finish. Entry is limited to reduce trail crowding and the course is clearly marked.

Awards and age groups: all finishers receive a finisher medal. Top five overall male and female finishers in each distance receive awards and prizes; age group awards are given for top three in standard age bands. Youth and senior pricing is offered.
