2026 Gumby 10K and 5K
The Gumby 10K and 5K take place on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake State Recreation Area. The races follow a trail course along the shores of Folsom Lake on a well-marked route with aid stations and course volunteers.

Race details
Aid stations are located on the course at miles 1, 2.5, 3.5, and 5. Each station provides cold water, FLUID Electrolyte beverage, and CLIF Shot energy gels and Bloks. Listening devices such as MP3 players and headphones are allowed; runners must exercise caution when crossing roads and remain attentive on trails. Packet pickup is available on race morning at the race site.
Awards are given for overall finishes and age groups. The Gumby 10K awards first place overall male and female and three-deep awards in ten-year age groups. The Gumby 5K awards first overall male and female and three-deep awards in age groups; athletes under 19 are split into 14 and under and 15-19. Custom race plaques are awarded three deep in each listed age group and division.
Entry and policies
Race shirts are available for pre-order for $20. Entry fees vary by registration timing; listed amounts range from $40 to $60 for individual 5K and 10K entries. TBF Racing has a no-refund policy; a refund requested before race week is issued as a TBF race credit minus a $25 processing fee. Transfers between TBF events are allowed within one year for a $25 transfer fee. All events are held rain or shine. Registration is available online or by mailed entry form.
