Event details

The Gumby 5K and 10K trail runs take place at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake SRA in Granite Bay, CA. The event includes finisher medals for participants and custom Gumby & Pokey medals are provided. Packet pickup is available race morning from 6:30 to 8:00 am at the race site. Race announcements and on-site registration open in the morning.

Course and support

The course uses single-track shoreline trails, some groomed trail sections, and segments of pavement. Aid stations are located at miles 1, 2.5, 3.5, and 5 and will serve cold water, an electrolyte beverage, CLIF Shot energy gels, and Bloks. Listening devices such as MP3 players and headphones are allowed; runners are asked to exercise caution when crossing roads and to remain attentive on trails.

Entry, shirts, awards and policies

Shirts are available for pre-order for $20. Entry fees vary by date: 5K : $40 until 11/1, $50 after 11/1, $55 race day; 10K : $45 until 11/1, $55 after 11/1, $60 race day. Awards include overall champion awards for male and female and three-deep age-group awards; the 5K splits athletes under 19 into 14-and-under and 15-19 groups. TBF Racing has a no-refund policy; refunds requested before race week are issued as race credit minus a $25 processing fee. Transfers between events are allowed within one year for a $25 fee.
