Event overview
The Gumby 5K and 10K trail runs take place on January 24, 2026 at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake State Recreation Area in Granite Bay, California. The event includes finisher medals for participants and Gumby-themed race shirts available for pre-order for $20. Packet pickup is available race morning at the race site.

Course and aid
The course follows shoreline single-track trails, sections of groomed trail, and some pavement along Folsom Lake. The course is described as well marked and supported by volunteers. Aid stations are located at miles 1, 2.5, 3.5, and 5 and will offer cold water, FLUID electrolyte beverage, and CLIF Shot energy gels and Bloks. Personal listening devices such as MP3 players and headphones are allowed; runners are asked to exercise caution at road crossings and while on trails.
Awards, entries and policies
Overall male and female champions are recognized for each race, with awards three-deep in age divisions; the 5K splits younger athletes into 14-and-under and 15-19 categories. Entry fees vary by date and race category. TBF Racing maintains a no-refund policy; refunds requested before race week are issued as race credits minus a $25 processing fee.
