About the race
The Grizzly Peak Trail Run takes place on May 8, 2027, at Lake Anza in Tilden Regional Park in the Berkeley hills. The course starts at Lake Anza and travels through Tilden Regional Park.
Distances for the event are measured with a Rolatape surveyor's measuring wheel and include:
- 50 Yards (children 6 years and younger)
- 2 Miles (Coastal Testing)
- 10K
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
- 30K
- 26.2 Miles (Marathon)
- 50K
Registration opens August 5, 2026. Most race registrations close May 2, 2027; the Kid's Run and Coastal Testing registrations close May 8, 2027. Entry fees are listed per distance: 10K $60, Half Marathon $70, 30K $75, Marathon $80, 50K $90; the Kid's Run and Coastal Testing have no fee.
