The Grizzly Peak Trail Run takes place on Sat May 9, 2026, at Lake Anza - Tilden Regional Park in Berkeley, CA 94708. The event offers multiple distances including a free Kid's Run for children 6 years and younger (50-yard dash). Parking at the venue is free. All events have a 9-hour time limit. Course and logistics

Races start and finish at Lake Anza and run through Tilden Regional Park. Courses are color coded and marked with ribbon approximately every 200 yards; polka-dot flagging indicates turns and blue ribbons mark wrong directions. GPX files are provided for each distance. Aid stations are fully stocked every 3 to 4 miles with fresh fruit, salty snacks, candy, water, and Skratch electrolyte drink; runners are advised to carry at least 20 oz. of water between aid stations. The event is cupless - participants should bring their own fluid container; a limited number of Hydrapak SpeedCups will be available for purchase at check-in.

Surfaces and elevation

Elevation gain and course surface by distance are provided, for example: the 10K has 1,060' gain (single track 75%, dirt road 19%, asphalt 6%); the 50K has 6,760' gain (single track 65%, dirt road 32%, asphalt 3%).
