Grit & Grind Trail Race Camp Fortune Edition

The event takes place at Camp Fortune in Gatineau Park on Sunday September 6, 2026. Available distances are:

  • 20 km (new for 2026)
  • 10 km
  • 5 km
  • 2 km kids race

Courses run on pine-lined singletrack and mixed terrain, featuring steep climbs, flowing singletrack sections and technical descents that vary by distance. As of 2026 the 20 km is an UTMB Index race, meaning its results feed into a performance-based trail ranking system.

Registration includes chip timing with results, a personalized race bib, post-race snacks and beverages, and a commemorative medal unless the Green Bib option is chosen. The Green Bib option does not include a medal and directs a portion of the registration fee to Sauvetage Bénévole Outaouais Ottawa Volunteer Search and Rescue SBO-OVSAR. SBO-OVSAR is a volunteer search and rescue charity providing search services, public education for outdoor safety, and community assistance during emergencies.

Race bib pickup is available at Euro-Sports the day before and at Camp Fortune on race morning. For safety, headphones and earbuds are not permitted on course. The event is not suitable for strollers or mobility devices. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
