Event Overview
The Run Bibbulmun Track Stage Race is a three-day trail running stage race. It takes place along sections of the Bibbulmun Track in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The event is based from the coastal town of Denmark.
The Course
The event offers two course options: the Karri Long Course and the Tingle Short Course. Runners complete different point-to-point stages each day, covering varied terrain without repeating tracks.
The daily stage distances for the long course are approximately 35 km, 33 km, and 39 km. The daily stage distances for the short course are approximately 17 km, 24 km, and 21 km. The routes pass through locations such as the Valley of the Giants, Peaceful Bay, Conspicuous Cliffs, Lowlands Beach, Cosy Corner, Greens Pool, and Elephant Rocks.
Logistics and Participation
The event is for solo runners, with a limit of 300 participants. Full logistical support is provided, including bus transport to and from stage starts and finishes. Each night, runners return to Denmark for accommodation and recovery.
