Great Shasta Rail Trail Run
The Great Shasta Rail Trail Run takes place on March 27, 2027 on the Great Shasta Rail Trail near Burney, California. Aid stations are placed approximately every 3 to 6 miles, with water drops in hotter years. Aid stations are stocked with electrolytes, standard runner snacks, and ice. The race begins and ends at the Great Shasta Rail Trail Trailhead in Burney; parking is available at the trailhead and porta potties will be provided at the start and finish.
The event benefits the Great Shasta Rail Trail to support its preservation and accessibility. Registration opens October 1, 2026 and the deadline for event swag is April 15, 2027.
