The Great Shasta Rail Trail is an out and back running event on July 25, 2026, held at the rail trail trailhead in Bartle on Harris Springs Road near McCloud, CA. Specific aid station placements include stations at the 10K and 30K turnarounds and an additional station for the 50K.
Logistics include parking in the trailhead lot or on nearby forest roads with requests not to block traffic or the rail trail. Porta potties will be available at the start/finish area and at the 50K turnaround. Runners receive a shirt and an after-race meal, and all finishers receive a finisher medal.
