Grasshopper Peak Redwoods Run
The Grasshopper Peak Redwoods Run is held in Humboldt Redwoods State Park near Weott, CA and 2026 marks the event's tenth year. The event is organized under the guidance of the Six Rivers Running Club and uses routes developed from extensive exploration of the park's trail system.
Both courses climb to Grasshopper Peak and then gently descend to a finish located in a grove of large old growth redwood trees in the Bull Creek Flats. Participants can choose between the following distances:
- 30K course
- 10.5 mile course
Online registration closes on June 3 and there will be no in person registration. T shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by May 1. The presentation emphasizes routes chosen from the park's varied trails and a finish among notable old growth redwoods. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
