Ghostly Gallop Trail 5K

The Ghostly Gallop Trail 5K is a trail running event held on October 25, 2026 at Arrowhead Golf Course in Milton, Vermont. The course follows the Laura’s Tears trail and is organized as a single 5 kilometer running race.

Pre-registration opens January 15, 2026 and is available online through October. In-person registration is available on race morning. The published pre-registration fee is $15.00. GMAA members may deduct $5 from the entry fee.

The event is open to runners aged 12 and older. Runners under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire race. GMAA and insurance rules prohibit running with a baby jogger or with a dog. For safety and courtesy to other participants, the use of headphones is strongly discouraged.

Facilities and logistics include two porta potties and handwashing stations. Post race refreshments will be provided. Prizes will be awarded to the top male, female, and non binary finishers overall, and additional prizes will be distributed by raffle. Participants should be mindful of other runners and spectators when entering and exiting the race area. The event has a Halloween theme and was previously known as The Hills Are Alive.
