The Immenstadt Mountain Marathon is one of the oldest and most challenging mountain runs in Germany and takes place in the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park in the Allgäu region. The event offers two courses: the mountain marathon with 31 km and 3050 meters of elevation gain, and the mountain trail with 15 km and 1500 meters of elevation gain. Runners can expect a scenic and technically demanding route. There are several refreshment stations, but no cups are provided, so participants must bring their own drinking containers.
