The Gator Wilderness Camp Trail Run/Walk takes place on April 25, 2026, at Gator Wilderness Camp School in Punta Gorda, Florida. The course runs through diverse woods and shaded hammocks on the camp grounds, which cover 250 acres. Race entry proceeds benefit Gator Wilderness Camp School, a 501(c)(3) residential school for adolescent males ages 10 to 15 from Southwest Florida. Awards are given to overall and masters finishers in the 5k for both males and females, and to overall finishers plus top three in five-year age groups for the 10k and 15k.

Logistics and entries

Standard in-person entry fees are listed for each distance; the Kids Fun Dash is free and open to ages 2 to 12. Registration open dates are specified for some events: the 10k and 15k registrations open September 25, 2025, and the virtual event opens February 18, 2026. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations received by April 1. Special pricing of $20 is available for cross country students ages 15-18 through April 20. Race-day packet pick-up and on-site registration are available; participants must bring a phone to register online on race day. No pets or running strollers are allowed on the trail.
