Course and logistics

All races use trail terrain that moves from a short road section into wooded single and double track. The course includes rolling hills, roots, and some technical sections. The 50K course is composed of two 13.1 mile laps plus an additional 5-mile loop. The half marathon is one 13.1 mile lap. The 5 Mile course uses about 0.25 miles on road before entering single track. Relay teams must have each member complete at least one leg; the exchange zone is located near the Nature Center Pavilion/parking area.

Aid stations are placed around the course at approximately 1.5 miles, 5.05 miles, 9.65 miles, and 13.1 miles. 21K runners pass each aid station once; 50K runners pass them twice. Race registration includes chip timing and event shirts; 50K and 21K registrations also list custom finisher mugs and stocked aid stations.
