Forest Lea Trail Run

The Forest Lea Trail Run is part of the Water and Dirt Festival and takes place on the Forest Lea Trails in the Laurentian Valley near Pembroke. The route uses rugged singletrack with roots and rocks and includes short sections of dirt road for variety. Both distances begin with a doubletrack warm up before entering tight, technical trails that require focus and endurance. Entry is limited to 150 competitors across both distances.

A free youth race of 3 km is available for runners 15 and under. The youth course is mostly on dirt road and doubletrack. Trails can be technical in spots, so a parent is recommended to accompany the child. No registration is required for youth and the maximum number of youth participants is 25.
