The course is predominantly singletrack - about 95% singletrack and 5% ATV/logging road. The route is mainly an out-and-back with a 1 km loop near Sandy Lake at the far end. The trail description notes fast, flowy singletrack with some short technical sections. The event offers a $250 prize to the female and $250 to the male who break the course records; current record times from 2024 are 1:02:03 (female) and 55:40 (male). Draw prizes are provided by Salomon and Aerobics First. Transfers are allowed; there are no refunds, no deferrals, and dogs are not permitted on the course.
