Florida Death Race
Lee, United States • 7 Mar 2026
The Florida Death Race is a challenging 74-mile point-to-point trail race held in Lee and White Springs, Florida, along a scenic section of the Florida Trail near the Suwannee River. Featuring about 2,000 feet of elevation gain, the course is 90% singletrack with technical, winding trails and several steep ravines. Runners carry a symbolic 1-pound railroad spike throughout the race, which they throw into a wooden coffin upon finishing.
The race offers seven aid stations, crew access, and a 20.5-hour cutoff. The top 100 finishers earn early registration for the Georgia Death Race. A shorter 37-mile "Baby" race is also available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
