Fleet Feet Fall Classic Trail

Fleet Feet Chico stages trail races in Upper Bidwell Park starting from the south side near the South Rim Trail Head. The course uses single track trails, includes a creek crossing, and finishes through Yahi and the Bidwell Golf Course. The event program includes a half marathon and a 4 mile endurance challenge, with a single loop 4 mile option also offered.

The half marathon gains approximately 1,600 feet in the first half and features downhill running in the second half. Aid stations and limited restrooms are located on course. Notable aid locations include 10 Mile House, the end of a fire road, and Bear Hole parking lot; there is also a start and finish station with post-race fuel.

The endurance challenge runs on an hourly loop format. Runners must complete a loop in under 60 minutes to start the next loop, every other loop reverses direction, and laps are logged via a race tag or bracelet placed in a drop box if a runner withdraws. The event has an overall maximum of eight loops and a final hour foot race when multiple runners reach the last hour.

Support services include bag check with tagged clear bags, bike valet, and efforts to reduce disposable cup waste by providing reusable SpeedCups at packet pickup. Awards are given for half marathon finishers by gender and age groups, and for top finishers in the endurance challenge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
