The Euskal Backyard Ultra is an innovative ultramarathon event set to take place in Loiu, Bizkaia, on June 7, 2025. This unique race features a 6.7-kilometer loop that participants must complete within one hour. If they fail to finish in time, they are disqualified.

The event continues until only one runner completes an additional loop beyond the others, making mental endurance as crucial as physical stamina. The course consists of 70% mountain trails and 30% asphalt, with a moderate elevation gain.
